What tableware do I need at home?

To set a table, you usually need the following: Plates, cutlery, glasses, and serviettes.

How do I set the table correctly for a dinner party?

Place the plate in the centre of the setting. The fork is placed to the left of the plate, with the knife and spoon on the right. The glass is placed above the cutlery, usually to the right of the plate. Optionally, place a decorative item such as a serviette ring or a decorative plate as part of the table setting.
