Warranty

As a general rule, we provide a 1-year warranty on items in our range, with the exception of consumables such as batteries, light bulbs and wear parts. Biltema offers a 3-, 4-, 5- or 10-year warranty on certain items. These items are marked with a dedicated warranty symbol.

The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase. The receipt serves as proof of warranty, and the item's warranty period is stated on the receipt.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship during private use. The warranty does not cover defects caused by failure to use the item in accordance with the user instructions, abnormal use or neglect, electrical overvoltage caused by lightning, or modifications or alterations to the item. In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace the item. Biltema determines what constitutes a suitable replacement item.

Biltema's warranties are voluntary commitments that provide benefits in addition to your statutory rights. The warranty does not affect your right to make a complaint about an item under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.

Biltema is not liable for business losses or other indirect losses.
