Epoxy adhesive is very versatile and so strong that it can compensate for deficient material. It can be sanded, drilled, and painted. For example, if a drill hole has become too large, you can fill it with epoxy glue. When the screw is then tightened, it affixes securely.

Use epoxy adhesive correctly

Epoxy adhesive is a two-component glue that forms when you mix epoxy resin and hardener. The two substances are stored in different containers and must only be mixed when you are ready to glue.

Once the two components are mixed, the epoxy adhesive begins to harden and you usually have a few minutes before it cures. To reach maximum strength, the adhesive needs to harden for several hours.
